    Depends.Some ppeole go to Nicaragua on mission trips, realize that the life they live is the dream of others, and continue to give back to the community over a long-term basis. Some ppeole (specifically retirees who have either visited or have done mission trips), go back and actually purchase property to live there and don’t go back to where they’re from. People realize the cost of living is substantially less and it isn’t a bad place to live.It’s all a matter of personal choice and preference. But to give you the benefit of the doubt, your friend from the army is less likely to go back home than your friend going on a mission trip to Nicaragua (given the statistical and rational differences of their destinations). However, this is something you can’t really put a percentage on. Doing so can bring up random statistical error. Not everyone is the same nor is their fate.
